By choice, we work with no more than two or three clients at a time. How we work
Herring Cove is a fully remote and mobile practice. That keeps our overhead low and allows us to be on the ground wherever a matter requires, with minimal lead time. Our clients have ranged from some of the world’s largest corporations to privacy-conscious high-net-worth individuals; nearly all of our engagements arrive by referral, through trusted recommendations and a long-standing network across industry and government.
A note on our name
Herring Cove Corporation is headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area, but our roots trace to the small coastal village of Herring Cove, Nova Scotia. Quiet and unassuming, the village plays an outsized role in the global economy. A landing point for one of the fastest transatlantic communications cables, and a base for the marine pilots who guide international freight safely into Halifax Harbour. That spirit: resilient, precise, and quietly essential, defines how we work, and inspires our name.
